I imagine myself as an ancient artifact, part of an artistic tradition forced into the digital age by H.G. Wells and his Time Machine. Now part of the modern world…I embrace it.

My students have a very cool final project to do. They asked me for an example. There aren’t any, so I created one. I’m not going to explain the project, just that my inspiration is Patti Smith. Sadly, most of my students don’t know who she is…
